Humate is a product that is very well known in the world of cosmetology. It is included in many effective masks for face, hair and body. What clay to choose for a mask, how to make masks with it properly and what can be mixed with it to get an additional effect - you will find out in this material.

It is no coincidence that clay masks are considered a centuries-old national heritage. There is hardly another natural material on earth that cleanses our skin so effectively and non-traumatically. There are several types of clay - white , gray-green , gray, brown , green , red, yellow , black, each of which gives different benefits to the skin and hair.

How to make masks with clay

In order for the masks with clay to bring the cleaning effect we all expect from them, it is very important to fully follow all the rules for making and using at home. They are related to the properties of the soil and can bring not only benefit but also harm.

-The rubber reacts very quickly with metal, so that the mask, even if it has been in a metal bowl for five minutes, is no longer suitable for use as a face mask. Therefore, use only glass, ceramic or enameled dishes as mask containers. Also, do not use metal utensils

-Masks are heavy, so if you apply them on your face, you should be lying down. Otherwise, once it hardens, the clay can pull your skin down and even fix it during this position.Do you need sagging facial skin?

-Before applying the mask, especially if you have oily skin, blackheads, acne, cosmetologists recommend enlarging the pores so that the cleansing properties of the clay work best. You can do this with a damp warm towel placed on your face for 15 minutes.

-Huma, absorbing all the dirt and grease, dries the skin a lot, so it can not last long. For dry skin, the length of the procedure is 5-7 minutes, traditional - ten, oily - 15. Hence, people with dry skin can make a clay face mask no more than once a week, and those with oily skin - once every 4-5 days.

-In no case should you peel off the mask, even if it is not completely hardened. We recommend that you do not allow it to harden, but periodically spray it with water, using a spray.

-Apply the masks immediately after preparation.

-The water you add to the masks should not be too cold and too hot.

-For storage, it is best to place it in a glass jar exposed to direct sunlight.

What clay to choose for face masks

In general, cleansing face masks can be made of any clay, but you can choose the material for the mask depending on the targeting of different skin types. Thus, green and white clay are most effective for oily and combination skin. These masks eliminate oily fading, normalize the secretion of sebaceous glands, fight acne and blackheads, and also smooth wounds and scars. Black clay face mask is recommended for frequent rashes and inflammations, has a strong antimicrobial effect. Humate with red and yellow colorin masks will suit dry facial skin, as well as sensitive and aging skin, mainly due to its unique mineral composition and mild effect on delicate skin.
