The purpose of this aesthetic operation is to recover and reshape the sagging breasts. By removing the excess skin in the chest and tightening the breast tissue, the desired image can be obtained both in terms of health and aesthetics. Although it varies from person to person, we can summarize the causes of sagging in the chest as follows;

- Sagging of the adipose tissue and milk glands depending on the age factor,
- Frequent weight gain and loss,
- Sagging caused by the discharge of milk from the breasts when the pregnancy process is completed,
- Loss of snap within the breast tissue,
- Wrong bra use.

Thanks to breast lift operations, the problem of sagging of the person is prevented and aesthetically young appearance is obtained. The lower age limit for operations is considered to be 18. The operation is not recommended for people under the age of 18 because the development process continues, except for their special circumstances.

How is breast lift aesthetics done?

Operations are usually performed under general anesthesia. The operation time varies between 2 and 4 hours depending on the method to be applied. The methods decided according to the needs and wishes of the person may vary. In cases where the sagging condition is mild, it may be preferred to place silicone under the breast. In the opposite cases, the breast tissue is intervened and the excess skin is cut. In people with large breasts who have sagging problems, the internal breast tissue is reshaped and a round form is given. In cases such as internal tissue insufficiency seen in small breasts, the desired image is obtained with silicone support. The frequently preferred method is the anchor technique known as lollipop, reverse T. Thanks to the lollipop technique, there are almost no stitch marks left. With this method, which is suitable for people with slight sagging, the process starts from the nipple and the incision is made from the sub-breast fold. Necessary procedures are performed through this incision. In cases where intense sagging is seen, the inverted T incision method is used. In this method, a horizontal incision is made in the sub-breast area. Excess tissue is removed from here and the process is completed.

What should be considered after the operation?

After the operation, the patient is dressed in a special bra and a cold compress is applied to prevent edema. Heavy exercise should be avoided for 1 month and the load should not be lifted. Edema in the chest area is quite natural. It starts to go away within a few weeks after the operation.
